Please pray for Ruth’s blood pressure. It has been decreasing over the past couple days, and they have had to steadily increase meds to prop it up where they want it.
Ruth has had a very difficult past 24 hours. Her blood pressure has become difficult to manage with the medications we have available—we have been steadily increasing stimulants throughout the day and are currently maxed out. She is now on a steroid in a rather last ditch effort to increase her blood pressure, and the next 24 hours will likely determine whether or not she survives. The doctor is also concerned about her lungs and her digestive system, but the life-and-death situation now is her blood pressure.
We covet your prayers. Hannah and I prayed for this child, and God answered our prayers. He has preserved her life thus far and has allowed us to touch her, talk with her, and sing to her. We are immensely grateful for all of this. And we are at peace with whatever God in His sovereign plan will give us. May He be glorified through us.
