Ruth had an uneventful day. She is still swollen and puffy all over, and her stomach is still stretched tight, but there has been no new growth over the past 24 hours. Due to an elevated heart rate indicating pain, she was given another dose of fentanyl late in the afternoon. She’s also on a second antibiotic for this week.

The results from the last ultrasound show the heart valve unchanged.

We thank our Lord for every day we get to spend with Ruth. While she’s not doing well, we are encouraged that with every passing stable day such as this one, other parts of her body are still growing and developing.
