Thank you all for your prayers. At around 10:30pm last night, Ruth’s heart finally gave out. The nurses administered CPR for almost 40 minutes until Hannah and I arrived, at which point we agreed to call it—Ruth’s heart had truly given out. 

Ruth is now with her Savior. We are at peace. We spent a whole month with Ruth, which we are very grateful for. But during that entire month, we watched her suffer and waited for when God might call her home—it could always be right around the corner. Now we’re here. And Ruth is finally at rest.

Pray for continued peace for all of us, that God would magnify Himself through us, and for stamina as we transition to making funeral arrangements after a rather long night.
