Ruth is mostly stable. Huge answer to prayer is that her stomach has stopped swelling any further. This morning her bloodwork had an un preferable number, so throughout the day they have been intensifying her ventilator settings. This evening her labs came back good, so they’ll maintain the high settings until she’s proven stable and then they’ll see if they can wean her back. She’s got another Xray at 2am and some more lab work at 8am.

She’s looking much better than she did a week ago! She is still fighting a lot though—inefficient blood flow, a bacterial infection, and a very inflamed gut. Keep her in your prayers when you think of her!
