Ruth has been doing relatively well today considering her day yesterday. She’s very sensitive to everything, including minor handling, as indicated by her heart rate and blood oxygen saturation. Her surgery yesterday went well and she got her umbilical lines removed. Today she had an X-ray and a head ultrasound to check up on the brain bleed. First report of a brain bleed was false, second true (maybe), and this third one we’ll see when we’re given the report. Prayers appreciated that everything looks good—they’re concerned about her stomach and how it will handle the next round of meds.

We’re praising God daily for preserving Ruth’s life. Thank you for your prayers.
