Ruth did well today. She had her first dose of ibuprofen. We’re watching her stomach carefully for signs of inflammation and bloating, and though there was some of that at the outset I don’t believe there’s been any significant change. Prayers appreciated that her undeveloped gut can handle the ibuprofen and that the ibuprofen will be effective at closing her heart valve. We’ve got two more doses to go over the next two days.

In other news, she’s got a lot of her fight back! She has been noticeably more active with her limbs today, which we like to see.

God has been merciful to us! It’s a long road ahead, but He who is righteous in all His ways has given us this road, and we follow willingly.
